Acai Berry Scam
September 9th, 2009 by admin

With the growing popularity of Acai berry based products; there has been a sudden rise in Acai berry scams as well. These Acai berry scams are everywhere on the internet. However it does not mean that all the acai berry products are ineffective. If you have made up your mind to go for Acai berry but are not sure which brand to go for, it is highly recommended to do some research online and prioritize your needs.

Following are a few points that will make you aware of a potential acai berry scam

    • Acai berry scams are in many forms. The most popular are the ones wherein you are asked to subscribe to a particular acai based product and then offered the same product at a surprisingly low price. In return you are supposed to sell the product to your friends and neighbors. You are lured into making money out of the sales that you make. If you come across similar offer just reject the offer. Of course you can try it if money making is your goal rather than improving your health.
    • Another very popular form of acai berry scam is the free trial offer wherein you are charged only for shipping and handling and not for the product. The catch is, as soon as you hit the submit button, it implies you agree to their terms and conditions. Their terms and condition clearly say that if you do not cancel your subscription after certain no. of days, your credit card will be charged. This is exactly what happens with those who fall in this trap. Their credit card gets charged every month simply because they do not get the order cancelled.

In order to avoid these scams it is highly recommended to go through the fine print of terms and conditions before hitting the submit button. If you have ordered it, make it a point to have it cancelled if you are not satisfied with the results.
